What I plan to do is have a big check presented to the winner of the micro sprint class for $150.00.
I also am going to take another $100.00 and split it between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. $50.00 for 2nd, 30.00 for 3rd, and 20.00 for 4th.
This is put on by JRW Motorsport's sponsors.

MIKES ATV,

BOONEVILLE COLLISION CENTER,

DYNAMIC ELECTRIC.

I'm working on some door prizes from McKissacks Welding and Fabrication. We are also putting an extra $50.00 in the largest kart class entry sponsored by THE EDDIE BURNS MEMORIAL MONEY RACE that will be held in August.
If a sposor would like to help and be on the Big Check. The dead line is 7/8/09.

Spring Nationals

Spring Nationals in PA.

First off traveling 18 hours for a race is a little wacky but making the whole trip by yourself is to say the least “tough”.

I had originally planned to travel up with others and share the expense but after finding that I was the only one left standing with a few days to go I decided what the hey.  The price of diesel was around $2.20 a gallon and I get around 13-15 mpg in my truck pulling a 17ft trailer so the fuel expense was not too bad and considering I could stay with my sister in Maryland, about 1 hr from the track I decided to make the trip.

Gulfcoast Motorsports Park

Saturday we had our first race in Gulfport MS. @ Gulfcoast motorsports park gates opened early for a special race dedicated to raising funds to Lexi Moore, Lexi is a 1st grader at North Woolmarket Elementary School (north Biloxi). In January of this year, she was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. The fans and racers showed their support last night with a huge crowd and lots of racers.

We had 7 270's on the first night with many coming up to us and excited about getting involved and some even had cars that they had or were going to get, so this night was by far the most exciting about building our 270 class here, having alot of fun and meeting new people. below is a link to videos of in-car camera shots worth seeing, First is a practice session from my car with great color and track layout. Second is the feature on-board from John Napiontek's car where he was able to catch the most action to date with tight action and accident coverage.
